The evening starts with a dinner by all members of the "caseta" (fraternity) based in fried fish and seafood. At twelve o'clock at night lights up the "portada" (cover at main entrance) and the fairgrounds with "el alumbrao" giving the official kickoff of the fair...La noche del "pescaíto" da inicio a la semana de la feria de abril de Sevilla. La noche empieza con una cena entre todos los miembros de la caseta a base de pescado frito y marisco. A las doce de la noche se ilumina la portada con "el alumbrao" y todo el recinto ferial dando así inicio oficial a la feria.
